Professional chess player and chess coach. Born on 1st of May, 1979 in Novi Sad,Vojvodina, Serbia. GM since 2011.

Winner of 10 International OPEN tournaments, and winner of 1 closed GM tournament. Best FIDE rating so far: 2521. I also made 10 GM Results (Rpfm =2600+), on various OPEN tournaments, but only 3 are accepted as official GM norm (OPEN Pamplona 2009, OPEN Paleohora 2010, OPEN San Sebastian 2011). GM since June 7th, 2011.

As coach, I have more than 10 years of experience, over the board and on internet, and a lot of satisfied students…

I learned to play chess early, around age 5-6, but started to practice and play very late, around age of 13-14. I learned to play chess from my father, but for a long time I had no chance to improve my play…
Finally I got chance when I met my first and only chess coach Danko Bokan in year 1992. With his help, and since I was (and I still am), fast learner, I made really quick progress in those youth days…
So, I had a lot of success in youth championships in Vojvodina and Yugoslavia. 4 times youth champion of Vojvodina, and 1 time youth champion of Yugoslavia.
With help of my coach Danko, I reached level of play of 2300+, and had FIDE rating 2330 when I was 18 years old (year 1997). After that, somehow our paths diverged, and I had to work alone on chess, but still we are good friends. After that I had no coach at all, and did all by myself.
Now, I have to thank him for all work which was done, because without him, I couldn’t have made such good start! And of course to my father, because without him I would have never learned to play chess at all!

Then I continued playing in senior competitions, and finaly became IM and pro – in 2001. Since then, I played succesfully for different teams, in different leagues, and in different types of tournaments. GM since 2011.
